Mr. Jack Giambalvo began in the automobile business.

1974

After years of hard work and success, Mr. Giambalvo purchases his first dealership in Red Lion, PA .

1980

Mr. Giambalvo opened the Pontiac dealership in York. Over the next eight years through mergers and acquisitions, Mr. Giambalvo added four additional franchises and the Whiteford Road property.

 

2000
Jack Giambalvo Motor Company acquired the Hyundai franchise and relocated its growing body shop business to the "Old Lowes Building" on Industrial Highway

 2006
The Mazda franchise was also relocated to Industrial Highway when the organization acquired Buick and located it at the Eden Road store.

2007
The "original" store" in Red Lion was closed.

Stetler Dodge was acquired and the Jeep franchise was relocated to 1405 Roosevelt Ave. York, PA 
2009
York Chrysler was purchased and moved to the Roosevelt Ave. location

Custom Color was purchased and operated out of the Whiteford Road location until it was relocated to Industrial Highway.

2014

The Collision Center was purchased from York Kia and established as West York Collision Center.

White Rose Insurance Agency, an independent personal lines insurance brokerage firm, was started. 

2019
Hanover Hyundai was purchased and established as Giambalvo Hyundai of Hanover.

2022
General Motors releases the Hummer, a new electric truck.
