Technicians

At Jack Giambalvo Family of Dealerships, we work hard to create a great team to help each employee succeed.
No training? No problem! We offer training to help you achieve your career goals.

At Jack Giambalvo, each dealership has several senior technicians and/or shop foreman that aids in the process of providing the required skills and knowledge to mentor new technicians and grow them into capable technicians. Each of these mentors have accomplished career goals that allow them to become successful technicians with their manufacturer and have been with our company for many years.

The goal of the mentor program is for the new technician to understand our processes and core values as a company, and then apply those processes and values to their workmanship. The mentor will guide and monitor the new tech in each area of the vehicle to help identify their strengths to help them become successful in a dealership setting. The mentor will accomplish this by accessing the new technician's understanding of automotive theory that was previously taught in post secondary education, and working with advisors to assign the new technician work based on their ability and progression.

Automotive technicians inspect, maintain, and repair the vehicles that customers bring to our service departments. Depending on the job, the repair may involve a specific part or the replacement of one or more parts as assemblies. Learn more about the technician career path below.
